A seasoned player, and a teacher first
I am a seasoned player and teacher with vast amounts of experience. On top of private one to one lessons, I was the head guitar tutor at The Academy of Music and Sound from 2015 to 2023, where I taught HNC and HND students along with those on the BA course, as well as music theory and live performance.
My private tuition business is now my main focus. With the addition of a second studio in Currie I am very excited to see where the business goes.
I have not stopped playing. I tour regularly and perform live shows throughout the year, and as well as working on original material I have been a session guitarist for shows such as the Blues Brothers, the Rat Pack, a Chuck Berry tribute and a Frankie Valli tribute.
That mix matters when you are choosing a tutor. What I teach in lessons is what I am still doing on stage and in the studio, so the lessons stay grounded in how music actually gets played and recorded.
